Need a pasta recipe that is incredibly simple to have on hand? This is the ideal one! It is quite simple to make and has a delicious garlic and olive oil flavour. We’ve been known to eat it on its own because it’s so tasty, but you can also serve it as a side dish or combine it with some meat and vegetables to make a whole dinner. It’s a useful recipe that you should keep handy! Your family will love it!
INGREDIENTS
- Spaghetti
- 1 tea spoon salt
- ¾ cup + 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 to 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1 ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 6 teaspoons lemon juice
- 9 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
INSTRUCTIONS
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add in 1/2 tablespoon salt to the water and cook the pasta according to package directions.
- In a small saucepan, pour in 1/4 cup olive oil and heat over low heat for 60 seconds. Add in garlic and red pepper flakes. Stir and cook 60 seconds. Remove from heat.
- Pour olive oil mixture over the cooked and drained pasta. Add in additional 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Pour in lemon juice and parsley and toss until pasta is coated.
